AI helps with job searching in two big ways: it helps employers sort through applications, and it helps job seekers apply smarter and faster.

For employers, a lot of companies use software that scans resumes, pulls out your skills and job titles, and tries to match you to what the job posting asks for. It’s basically a fast filter that helps recruiters handle a big pile of applicants.

For job seekers, AI can help you find jobs that fit, rewrite your resume so it matches the job description more clearly (without lying), and practice interview answers. It can also help you draft messages for networking and follow-ups, as long as you make them sound like you and keep them specific.

The main takeaway: keep your resume simple and clear, use the same kinds of words the job posting uses if they really apply to you, and use AI as a helper, not as something that replaces your real experience. Also be careful with “too good to be true” remote job offers, because scams are common and can look more convincing now.

That’s a great question, and it’s evolving daily. Have you found AI useful in your job search? If so what are the ways you’ve been using it?
